III. Treasury Report and Financials
The SnoVARC bank balance as of 8/31/2026 was $6,408. SnoVARC’s membership roster is now at 50 members, and all time high for the club. Tom made the motion to approve Lindy’s Treasurer’s report. Mike seconded the motion and all members approved. Motion passed.
IV. Committee and Task Force Reports
Repeater Task Force:
Cougar Mountain Repeater – Lost power. Upon investigation it was found that some of the power pole connections had become loose. There was some discussion on how to monitor the power supply and place some cameras at the radio station building. Doubts that the current internet could handle video from a camera ended the discussion.
Myers Repeater – Audio still a little “mushy” and overdriven. Ken would like Ryan to assist him in adjusting the controller.
Carnation Repeater – Tom is looking for volunteers to assist him with removing the antenna, antenna mounting parts and any coaxial that can be salvaged from the roof of City Hall before building demolition begins.
Emergency Planning and Mobilization:
EYEWARN – The current plan is to maintain an EYEWARN footprint within the EFR controlled areas. Challenges: What will trigger EYEWARN activation? Rowland distributed a document looking for any ideas or suggestions on what the trigger for an EYEWARN Net will be to activate.
V. Old Business – None
VI. New Business
September 3rd there will be another “bunny hunt” with a lower powered transmitter signal.
