ELMER SESSION for the October 5th meeting at 6:30PM (Door prize for in person attendance):

Bill Thomassen, N6NBN, will present APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System). Bill has been an active ARES/RACES operator in the Seattle area since 2006. He is primarily aligned with Seattle ACS, but is also an active member of the Western Washington Medical Services Team [WW7MST.org], and Bellevue Communications Support. He tests the APRS system daily, from both of his vehicles as needed, and encourages all EmComm Operators to use APRS in their Public Service events and drills. He is also an avid Winlink Operator and Elmer, and supports EmComm-Training.org and their exercises.
