IV. Committee and Task Force Reports

Repeater Task Force:

Cougar Mountain Repeater – Working well – Radio building lost commercial power for 4 days, due to windstorm damages. Back-up generator and battery back-up kept the repeater on the air but eventually dropped out. With no power, the repeater links dropped. Needed to reset clock, the echolink and all-star links after commercial power was restored. New Kenwood repeater and Arcom controller are on order.

Myers Repeater – Working well – Ken reset clock to match actual time.

Carnation Repeater – Working well

Crossband repeater at Shawn’s home will be relocated to Colin’s home. Shawn and Colin are working on the relocation project.

Emergency Planning and Mobilization:

EYEWARN – Northern Issaquah, Sammamish and EFR are interested. Bob from Redmond ARES (KI7KFI) is interested too.

Education and Community Outreach:

Thursday Night Roundtable/Ham Development – Every 3rd Wednesday the club will meet at Red Pepper restaurant. New interior design has been completed and it looks very nice.

Equipment Inventory Status – No changes to date.

V. Old Business

Status of Club Shirts – Sandy’s Duvall Dazzling Designs is working through a couple of software issues on their website that needs to be fixed before we can view and purchase SNOVARC merchandise.

VI. New Business

SNOVARC Holiday Dinner – Ixpata in Redmond Ridge December 5th at 6pm. So far, we have 14 attendees.

Halloween Drill Feedback – Based on storm emergency. Participants did a good job recording information and relaying that information back to Tom when the information was requested.

VII. Open Discussion

Board Elections – If anyone wants to be the VP of the club or the club Secretary, now is the time to submit your names to Tom to be considered. The VP and the Secretary position expire soon. Kirt is the current VP and Mike is the current Secretary.  Both Kirk and Mike are willing to remain in these positions unless someone wants to run for either of those two positions. Please let Tom know if you are interested.

Meeting adjourned at 7:38 p.m.
